So yesterday we started to find out about each other's organisations. Luke from Malta interviewed us all to find out what we do, what resources we have, what we look for in partners and what areas we wish to focus on. There are a number of Arts organisations represented here and some really good opportunities for partnership building.
A big thunderstorm kept us all in doors.
After dinner we set out to find a bar and encouraged by the Irish delegation ended up in Murphy's bar. This was masquerading as an Irish pub. By the early hours only the heavy weights were left consisting of four of us, this included me! When asked what we were doing we said we were building International relationships which seemed to cause much merriment and disbelief amongst the other residents of the bar.
The learning from yesterday... Never go drinking with Balkan men.
What an awesome way to communicate... I must say that although I believe I am quite computer savvy I never tried blogging! Well done Momentum and Avisha for getting this going! Yes, the project is going well... All participants seem engaged in project writing and in getting to know our organisations' strengthens so that we create new opportunities for the many young people we all work so hard with! Well done!
